Roger & JoLia Zimmerman
WV/WMD District Youth President

Roger and JoLia Zimmerman reside with their son, Josiah, and daughter, Ella, in the beautiful Potomac Highlands region in the city of Keyser, West Virginia.  They were married in June 2008 at their home church, Bonnieview Apostolic Chapel, pastored by Reverend Robert Fazzalore. At Bonnieview, Roger and JoLia serve on the ministry team as Youth Pastor and Wife, and are actively involved in Student and Hyphen ministry. As well as serving on the ministry team, JoLia serves as the worship leader at Bonnieview. Currently, Roger holds a General License with the West Virginia/Western Maryland District of the United Pentecostal Church International.

The Zimmermans have been blessed to be a part of the Youth Ministries Team at the District level since 2011.   They served as Section Two Youth Representatives from 2011 to 2013.  In 2013, Roger and JoLia served as Youth Secretary and Wife until the Spring of 2017. In 2017, Roger was elected Youth President of the WV/WMD District.

In addition to ministry, Roger is currently employed by Mineral County Schools as a Social Studies teacher at Keyser High School. He earned an Associate degree in Business Administration from Allegany College of Maryland in 2005. In 2008, Roger earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Social Sciences from Frostburg State University. 

JoLia is a 2008 graduate of West Virginia University where she earned a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. JoLia is also employed by Mineral County Schools as a Kindergarten teacher at Keyser Primary School.

Roger and JoLia love working with Students and Hyphens, and consider it a great privilege to serve the young people of the West Virginia/Western Maryland District!
